Common Name: Red-gilled Psathyrella

Synonyms: Psathyrella barlae

Spore Color: Dark Purplish Brown

Gill Color: Purplish-brown to Black

Comments: 

This mushroom can be a somewhat confusing ID for several reasons. First, it may appear to be growing terrestrially from the crotch of a tree. Secondly, it has pinkish tones to the spores. In the picture below, you can easily see the spore mass on the caps of some of the mushrooms.
