Comments: 

A great edible that is very easy to identify. It grows in a rosette pattern at the base of trees, and has a bright orange upper surface with a while underside. 

Lookalikes:  

Laetiporus sulphureus is similar but it has a bright yellow underside and grows on downed wood.
