Comments: 

Sometimes often called Jew's Ear in literature, this mushroom is a good edible. It is one of the components of Hot 'n Sour soup at Chineese restaurants. This mushroom has a much more stable texture than some of the other jelly mushrooms. It is about the consistency of a saleen implant before they are inserted. 

Lookalikes:  

Tremella foiliacea and Exedia glandulosa can be similar.
