Common Name: Magpie Inkcap

Synonyms: Coprinus picaceus

Gill Color: White, eventually black with age

Comments: 

The main surface of this mushroom is a dark brown. When it is young it is covered with grayish to pinkish wolly fibers over the length of the cap. As the mushroom ages, it begins to deliquesce (turn to a black goo) from the base upwards.
