Common Name: Yellow Cracked Pholiota

Comments: 

Slightly scaly surface to the cap, especially around the center. As you approach the margin, likely to get more granular. Breaks in the scales tend to be yellowish. Growing from wood. 

Lookalikes: 

Flammulaster erinaceella (formerly Pholiota erinaceella) is very similar. Entire surface is more granular.
