Common Name: Golden-gilled Gerronema

Synonyms:

Substrate: Large Sticks or Logs, Sometimes well decomposed.

Location: Hardwood Forests

Spore Color: White

Gill Color: Yellow

Comments: 

This mushroom likes to fruit in large troops when it grows. Usually a yellowish mushroom, but it has grayish-brown tones when it is younger. Other features include well-spaced gills running down the whitish stem, and growth on wood.

The genus is similar to Omphalina, with pale spores, growth on wood, decurrent gills, small size, with a cap that is depressed in the center at maturity, and no partial veil.
