The range for these mushrooms extends east to Pennsylvania and Ohio, and West to Iowa and Missouri. So if you are in this area of the country, these pages will be very useful to you.

If you are new to mushroom hunting, the best way to learn is with someone who is experienced at identification. There are mushroom clubs throughout much of the country that hold events nearly every month. Check out this list of organizations, to find a club near you.
